Maintenance Technician/Intern
We need to fill a Maintenance Technician position/intern in our Maintenance Department. We are searching for 2 candidates, 1 full time and 1 intern (hours workable).
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on building systems, conveyors, and equipment.
- Repair plumbing issues, including leaks and blockages.
- Address damaged electrical wiring and ensure electrical safety.
- Implement preventative measures to reduce the risk of future issues.
- Identify and fix potential safety hazards to prevent injuries.
Job Requirements:
- Versatile technician with a broad skill set, capable of learning new tasks efficiently.
- Flexible schedule, willing to work until 7:30 PM
- Proficient with basic tools and mechanical tasks
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of verbal and written instructions
- Familiarity with hand tools and equipment
- Competence in working on simple motor controls and gearing.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
Compensation:
- Commensurate with experience.
