What is Tiger Shadow? 

Tiger Shadow is an on-the-job experience allowing students to observe various work environments within their career fields. Students will explore career options and gain knowledge to help them choose a major, occupation, or industry. 

FAQs 

Tiger Shadow is a one-day opportunity that can range from 4 to 8 hours. 

Tiger Shadow will be held during spring break, summer break, and fall break each year. 

To apply for Tiger Shadow, please visit Handshake. Applications will be accepted two months prior to your shadowing opportunity. Once applications close, you will be matched with a host (based on the information you provide) and given a short window to accept. You will receive information on completing your orientation. Afterwards, your host will communicate with you via email regarding the schedule and other important information. Lastly, you will be asked to complete a survey regarding your shadowing experience and send a thank you letter to the employer.
