Merge is a semester to a year-long program that creates positive and constructive dialogue surrounding career readiness and professional development. Whether you are a current Auburn student or an industry professional, we invite you to join us in cultivating a student culture of career readiness.

Through monthly meetings, Merge facilitates intentional reflection and discussion around the eight career readiness competencies outlined by NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers). These include Communication, Technology, Teamwork, Leadership, Cross-Cultural Fluency, Career Ownership, Critical Thinking, and Professionalism. Since these are the requisite skills employers seek in new hires, college is an opportune time to develop these competencies. Actively participating in a mentorship relationship can further enhance these skills for both mentors and mentees.
