About the role:
Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to convert Off Trade plans into disciplined retail execution across assigned customers, territories, distributors and outlets. The role ensures Diageo wins the shelf and the shopper by improving availability, distribution, visibility, display execution, price compliance, promotional follow-through and customer / distributor issue resolution.

This role exists to make the Off Trade plan visible at store level.

Customer / outlet execution priorities

Decides day-to-day priorities for assigned Off Trade customers, territories or outlets, including distribution, availability, visibility, price compliance, promotion and issue resolution.

Works within approved Off Trade plan, customer agreements, pricing guardrails, investment guidelines and execution standards.

Outlet performance interventions

Recommends actions to improve sell-out, distribution, availability, visibility, promotional execution, service and merchandising.

Uses field visits, customer feedback, distributor input, PULSE, execution data and sell-out signals.
Functional & Leadership Responsibilities

• Execute Off Trade priorities in assigned customers, territories and outlets.

• Focus on distribution, availability, shelf, visibility, displays, pricing and promotional compliance.

• Build relationships with customers, store teams, distributors and merchandisers.

• Identify opportunities in assortment, placements, promotions, pricing, shopper conversion and rotation.

• Monitor stock, service, pricing, delivery, distributor execution and merchandising gaps.

• Capture retail intelligence on competitor activity, shelf share, promotion quality, shopper behavior and execution issues.

• Lead through field discipline and commercial integrity.

Experience and Required Qualifications

  • University Professional (Administrative careers or fines)
  • Knowledge of English.
  • Analytical and “commercial acumen” capacity Structure.
  • Passion for sales.
  • Negotiation Skills and Business Relationship Building.
  • Deep understanding of the needs of customers and consumers of the channel.
  • Proven experience in street fieldwork with routes and clients.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team effectively.
