Practice is a very important part of the interview and the job-seeking process. The University Career Center will host two Virtual Mock Interview Day(s) on Tuesday, February 2nd and Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm for all currently enrolled students at Auburn University.
For Mock Interview Day, industry recruiters and employers are invited to provide practice interviews for students. You will be paired to interview with an individual that works with or recruits for your specific major. Each interview will last approximately 30 minutes which includes feedback from the interviewer on what was done well ad what could be improved.
Your Mock Interview will be a way for you to practice; however, the interview will be much more than “JUST PRACTICE”. Use our Interview Tip Sheet and visit the Campus Career Closet to prepare and be able to present yourself in the same way you would for a “REAL” interview. https://aub.ie/mockinterview
Benefits:
- Gain experience interviewing and build confidence
- Receive interviewing feedback, tips, and suggestions
- Reduce anxiety about the interview process
- Ask industry-specific questions to employers and recruiters
To enhance your experience during Mock Interview Day, we ask that you register now and let us know your intended career field, major, and times available to be matched with an appropriate professional. You will receive a confirmation email with your set time and professional prior to the event.
Registration opening soon!
If you are an employer or alumni who would like to help out with this event, sign-up today!
