Student Employee of the Year Awards

The Student Employee of the Year (SEOTY) awards are held annually in the 2nd week of April, during National Student Employment Week.

Each year nominees are honored and winners are chosen during a special ceremony sponsored by the University Career Center.  Additionally, winners for each category are considered for regional and national recognition.

Auburn University held its first SEOTY celebration in 2002 for on-campus student employees and expanded the program in 2006 to include off-campus student employees.  In 2013, Thanh (TJ) Nguyen became the first Auburn University student to be awarded the National and Regional Student Employee of the Year Awards.
