Student Information

Cooperative education provides students with a range of benefits.  Here are three reasons why you should be considering the co-op program.

Experience

Co-op students gain up to 1 year of experience before graduation, giving them a competitive edge when seeking full-time employment after graduation.

Career Choice

Students who participate in the co-op program have the opportunity to test their choice of major and experience the career paths within that major.

Compensation

All co-op positions must be paid, and co-op students must be employed full-time during work semesters.

Send-Off

If you are an Auburn Co-op student reporting to work for the first time, please watch this recording of our Send-Off meeting for some important information relevant to your first work term.

How to Get Started

At the beginning of each semester, the co-op program staff host several co-op information sessions for students.  Please attend one of these sessions to learn more about the co-op hiring process.
